A typical New Year where I live...
People on facebook: OMG YEAH BRING ON TONIGHT GONNA GET WASTED!!!111!!!!!1!!!!!!
Me: Yep, gonna go on tumblr, twitter, play the guitar and listen to music. In my room. Alone.
Can I really get away with this?
“Hey, Mum, would you mind letting me go to London to see Frank Turner at Wembley Arena? Yeah, tickets are like £22.50, plus the trains, and I’d need to change; once at Euston, then get on the Tube to Marylebone and then get the train to Wembley Stadium. So that’ll be about 80 quid, but I’ll have to overnight it somewhere, too, because trains won’t run from Euston to...
WHY DID I CHOOSE SUCH A COMPLICATED COURSEWORK...
Here I am, analysing the swearing in The Thick of It, trying to bang out 2500 words, while being well aware that I’m nowhere near 1000 yet - more like 800, and it’s already sounding like disjointed cack.
Why did I choose to do this and not analyse the use of language in the stories that me and my twin sister wrote in STAR Week in Year 1?

English coursework? Nah, sod it, I'm gonna browse...
And I wonder why people tell me that I seem to have lost my motivation this year.

thepervert asked: It's quite strange that they do, but I'm not complaining, I love it so much. Yeah which is pretty good, and when you learn one language it's easier to pick up on others (or so I've heard). Have you had any offers yet?
thepervert asked: Wow! Yeah we were made to do French, but I took it for GCSE and then dropped it. I take Italian, History and Sociology. I probably should have taken another language but I never really got on with French and English was so much work
thepervert asked: We never got the chance to take German. So do you do German and French for A level then?
thepervert asked: Yeah Romance languages are definitely the most beautiful

thepervert asked: Wow! Yeah Italian is a great language and both French and Spanish make it easier to learn apparently!
thepervert asked: Italian and Linguistics mainly, how about you?
thepervert asked: Ooh, Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Reading and Nottingham Trent
thepervert asked: Just wondering, where have you applied for university?
If A Night With The Stars, or anything with Brian Cox presenting it, had been on the TV when I was doing my GCSEs, I would have got an A* in Science, and probably carried Physics on to A-Level.
Why do I only realise Physics can be interesting as I apply to uni to study French and Spanish?
